John's Story
Edina (MN) High School (1963), then Aeronautical Engineering at U. of Minnesota (1967), then began grad school there until drafted in 1968. Joined the Air Force, Officer Training School, became a Minuteman Missile Launch Officer at Malmstrom AFB, Great Falls, MT (1969-74). e been working at Boeing (Seattle) in Computer Science and then Artificial Intelligence since 1977 (and anxious to retire now). We have two kids, Cyndi (b. 1985) and Steven (b. 1988). My main hobby has been model railroading. Other interests: science, philosophy, humanism, liberal politics, early rock & roll, history of space flight, dinosaurs, theater, Gilbert & Sullivan, art, following football & baseball.
