John's Story
I am a retired Army LtC. I currently work as a nurse practitioner in urology at Manchester VAMC. I have 3 grown daughters, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. I remaried 11 years ago to the love of my life, who came equipped with 2 small sons, thus obviating the need for sex. What a break. The boys are now in College; in ireland as I write this- and the joy of our lives.
We live in Manchester, NH in an old house with a wrap around porch and great views. We have a 100 lb Pitbull/Black Lab lap dog. who is endlessly entertaining. We just returnesd from a visit to China. We enjoy hiking in the mountains, going to...Expand for more
the gym, bicycle tours; I still run half marathons, SCUBA dive, lift weights and do mixews martail arts ( with my grandson, which makes us a bit of an oddity in the club).
God has blessede in every way that I could ask- beyond, in fact, anything I might have asked, and immeasureably more than I merit. I still have Mike Connolly as my best friend and most of my marbles. There is not a day on which I am not happy and grateful. I consider having gone to St John's the second of the 3 great mitzvahs of my life, along with my grandmother and my wife.
I hope that the years have brought happy times to all my old friends.
