John's Story
I retired April 30, 2010 and after we sold our 62nd floor condo in the John Hancock Tower in Chicago - we moved full time to our house Casa de los Venados in Vallaodlid Mexico. Se it by going to youtube.com and keying in "Casa de los Venados". It is an 8+ minute video done by Yucatan Living Magazine after they earlier did an article for their magazine on the house.
The house has a collection of approx 3,000+ of Mexican folk art and contemporary art. Accrording to Gloria Guevara the former Mexican National Minister of Tourism ( who has been to our home 5 times) it is the largest museum quality collection of Mexican folk art in private hands. We open the house each day for a tour at 10 AM. To raise money for local charities.

ome traveling with multiple trips to Central and South America, Europe, North and South Asia, Australia, as well as extended stays at our home Casa de los Venados in Valladolid Mexico.
We also travel by car with one of our staff doing the driving going to places like San Criatobol de las Casas in the State of Chiapas Mexico. Wonderful old colonial buildings.
We just put our ocean front 3 story home up for sale in Cancun. Anyone interested in a good deal on waterfront resort property?
You can see our Valladolid 400 year old, 18,000 square foot restored colonial home Casa de los Venados by going to the listing for our home on TripAdvisor when you key in "things to do" in Valladolid, Mexico as well as our email and telephone contact info.
