Life:
Born 3/21/46, in XXXXX Arkansas,to Robert William Beames and Dorace May Beames. Imediatly moved back to Stillwater Okla. Where My Dad was Going to school at Oklahoma A&M. he was an "All American Center" on the football team before he went into the Marines. When I was 8 months old we moved to Dallas Texas on a train and lived in a Vet village in Oak Cliff. Cara, My sister was born there. Dad had Several different jobs, Photographer, Life Gaurd at Old City Park in Dallas, Dallas Police, then got on with BIA and we moved to Brigham City Utah, where Dad became Boy's adviser at Intermoutain Indian School and mom worked there too as a secretary. Shirley, My sister was born there. 1956 Dad was promoted and we moved to Chicago, finally setteling in Atena IND. a suburb of Gary IND. I went to the fifth grade there. Dad took a demotion to get out of Chicago and with 6 weeks to go in the fifth grade, we Moved to Anadarko Oklahoma, where there were only 2 weeks left in fifth grade at East Grade elementary. We Moved across town that summer and I started sixth grade at Sunset Grade School.Where I got my first taste of football and basketball. I lettered all four years grades 9 thru 12 and Graduated with a 3.7 average from AHS in 1964. Went to OSU in Stillwater (formally known as Okla. A&M.) met and dated girls from Chickasha, Cyril, Appache, and several other towns.After 3 years of changing my major, I Got married and joined The U.S. Navy. Went to boot camp in San Diego, One year of Gunnersmate school In Great Lakes Naval station in North Chicago, Illinois. My son was born there. Then was sent to Long Beach California and my first ship, The USS James E. Kyes DD 787. My Daughter was born there. Also served on USS Somers, DDG 34,in Long Beach, Got two years of shore Duty in San Diego, at DATC/FMAG 32nd street Naval Sta. Got divorced there. next served on the USS Reeves CA 32, and USS Brewton FF 1086, out of Pearl Harbor. over 11 years I was stationed on Destroyers, and Cruisers.Plus 2 years shore duty at DATC/FMAG, 32ND STREET Naval Station, San Diego.Where I was promoted to GMT-1 E6. 1975 I was reasigned to Pearl Harbor on board the USS Reeves and later USS Brewton, where I finished my eleven year enlistment.
Presently living in Dallas, Ex Navy E-6 ASROC Gunnersmate, 7/67 to 6/78. Divorced, Kids from first marriage to Donna June (Kellert) (Beames)) married again, but I don't know her name now. Daughter in law ,Lynn, wife of son Michael, who is currently making a fabulus living off ebay. Grandaughters: Emily, & Ivy. Daughter: Deedra (Beames) xxx, Remarried to Dale, engineer. (maintenance of jail with 3500 + inmates and other county buildings) since 9/5/1989. Presently I am at The County Cook/Chill Facility where they cook all the food for the jails, and the Henry Wade Juvinile Justice Center.I have a Stepford Shire Terier named Billie Jo. Lives in the house with me. She is the only female in my life right now, but I still think there might be someone out there for me. Otherwise I am happy as a 63 year old bachelor. LOL
I am 66 now in 2012 and retired from Dallas County on March 30, 2012. Just Chillin

School
Favorite teachers were Jack (prof) Shannin, and Coach Ben Niles. Lots of good memories, Beating Chickasha in football, being special effects mechanic for play "Blyth Spirit".Dateing a very special girl my last two years in school. I was always too shy around girls, would (and have)changed that drasticly.Have found many old friends on Classmates.com and made some new ones.

I am trying to learn my native language with the help of a distant cousin in OKC.
I would hope that My friends remember me as an intelegent, well behaved, Good looking guy, a "wan a be" jock, (I tried real hard). Of course, they didn't know the real me. LOL
To relax and have a good time I rely on Coors, COLD BEER AND JIM BEAM, bourbon.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is James Cole, One of my College roomates, because He joined the Navy with me, Haven't seen him since boot camp.
If I could improve my home, I'd Move from Dallas back to Oklahoma and add on a Hobby / crafts shop. My dream home would be Just outside of Anadarko Oklahoma.
I have learned from my kids That they eventually learn who loves them no matter what the EX has told them
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to my Kids, then spend the rest on Class of 64 , other friends, and Me.
My current age is 66. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be Old and worn out. I was so completely right, LOL. 2012
My best friend would tell you I'm a lot of fun, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as a flirt. LOL.
My clothing style, consists of a closet full of jeans and T-shirts,but I can clean up pretty nice, when I want to.
In 10 years, I hope to be Back in Oklahoma somewhere and still be alive. LOL. I'm going to get there by Hook or crook.
My first job was at Anadarko Daily News, where I got paid Much too little to deliver news papers. What I remember most about it is working for pay, good excersize, and learning about the real world.
