John's Story
Growing up in the beach was such a treat for me as a kid from 4 public schools Norway balmy beach for a short time to a longer time at Kew beach and WillIamson Rd/ Glen Ames-Malvern great friends magical era fond memories. The great people i met, to sports teams, sock hops teachers that made an impact on me Mr Blue Mr Gibson Mr Michaloff and all the crazy times.
Then moving on to Malvern same magical era the 60s music, the wild parties wow! it is a wonder I can even remember them! Being a member of the hockey football and track teams i was proud to be on them and represent Malvern and the Beach, although my academics were not my highest achievement I still had a blast! the many old cars and motor bikes we all had iam sure lucky to be alive with some close calls! Then went on to Centennial College and Humber College and UBC out west....Expand for more

I have lived all over the USA from New England, Florida, California to Vancouver and BC places all over Ontario. I still always think fondly of Toronto the Beach and my old turfs in Ontario. Over the years i have organized a few successful reunions during the 80s 90s early 2000s and last one a few years ago which was my last. It is always a privilege for me and grateful to do and i always get a kick seeing you all listening to the great tunes of our era and going down memory lane together!
As we are approaching our mid to late 60's even 70 Wow! I am Still vertical! Full of gratitude and thankful to have made it this far! Sadly some are not with us...but not forgotten...sure miss them always in my heart. I treasure the wonder and magical era of the 50s /60s /70s and you all.as very special people .....
