John's Story
Life
The 80's were not so kind. Too much partying and not enough responsibilities made for one giant blur in my history. But I came out of it alive and despite burning a few brain cells have survived. After graduation, I accepted a job with Mitel and made good coin. Then the axe fell, and I was left scrambling for something. I met my wonderful, gorgeous, anchor of my life-wife while working p/t at a grocery store. She comes from a HUGE traditional Italian family. For those that know me, this is a wee bit ironic. I am a tradition onto myself. Needless to say her family loves having a big ole redhead around. We married in 91 and enjoyed the life of DINKS. were tied down with families. Then in 2000 Josh (a.k.a. Ohmigosh) was born. Although I would never recommend having kids to anyone - I honestly have to say that he is my "everything" in life. The 3 of us now live in downtown Barrhaven (and coming from Pleasant Park - that is a HUGE lifestyle change) and we are loving it. Want a sign that the apocalypse is upon us? I am a computer geek! Yep folks, that's right - the end of the world as we know it! I am a LAN administrator for a very large and successful international Internet Service Provider. And although we are carrying a truckload of extra weight around the equator (thanks Alexander Keith!) physically, nothing has really changed. Still have the orange hair, and still as loud as a train.
