John's Story

Gayle and I moved in 2010 "home" to Charlotte, NC. Our neighborhood is located on the shores of Lake Wylie, part of the Catawba River system. Our oldest son is expecting a daughter in December, 2013 and our youngest son is expecting grandchild number 8 next spring. I was able to fulfill my dream of becoming a Navy pilot, and went on to a career in sales and marketing in the tire industry, and more recently the aluminum commercial vehicle wheel business. Happy Birthday to my angel!
This was Gayle on her 50th birthday, only a few years ago - a photo of my angel holding a ceramic angel. Perfect!
Gayle is recovering nicely from her surgery to repair the broken left leg. You can see her Clemson orange cast on that one. She should be out of the "boot" on her right ankle May 25 and will have the cast removed from her
