Jon's Story
Life
The whole life bio thing seems a bit funny, but here's the short version: Went straight through school for chemistry and got my PhD at UMass Amherst then post doc'd at Princeton & USC. Took a job in Memphis, which was great, and got married to Martha Colpitts. Martha and I met while we were teenagers and I was singing in the NH Jazz All State Choir, but we didn't date until I was finishing up grad school. While we were in Memphis, I went back to school and got an Executive MBA from Christian Brothers University while working full time. I think I'm done with school now :)
Anyway, my gig in Memphis relocated us back to NH 1999 and I switched employers in 2003. It's wonderful to be back in The Granite State. I travel a lot for work and having been all over the US and Europe, I can say that life in NH is special. Great place to raise a family.

t, Poly & Ester (science humor rocks!). My little brother Brian is married and my little sister Kerry has a significant other. Kerry lives in the house we grew up in in Rye and has been there basically full time since our mom passed away in 2001.
As for me, and people from PHS will probably find this hysterical, I continue to have a passion for the martial arts. I started seriously studying the martial arts while at Manhattanville and practiced Tang Soo Do for ~ 6 years. While at UMass, I got involved with Aikido and studied that for ~12 years across MA, CA, TN, and back in NH. Very fun. Then, about 3 years ago, I started studying Jujitsu. There is no cure... only training :)
Well that was a lot more than I expected to type and probably enough for a first go of it. Please drop me a line to let me know what you've been up to and maybe we can even catch up in real life.
