Jose's Story
I tried college did 1 semester but didn't like it so I joined the U.S. Marines I went to school for communications and was then stationed on the west coast. I had some fun times and shed some tears. After the Marines I tried life as a civilian, but 911 changed things for all of us. I spent 3 days at the EOC and then remembered why I joined the military. I joined the Army National Guard and have been active pretty much ever since, don't believe the one weekend a month two weeks in the summer line (lol). I have several combat tours and love what I do. omething your good at you must go with it. I have been to 35 States and ten different countries, I've volunteered for numerous missions abroad and stateside and enjoy the travel. I am now with the 218th MEB as an MP. As a civilian I live in Beaufort, SC and I contract for various international security companies. I specialize in close protection and risk assessments.
