Joseph's Story
My life has been full. A desert dweller - I've had broad experiences, traveled, taught and have been taught, loved and have been loved, cried and laughed but enjoy laughing most. I retired after 35 years of vocational teaching - they call it these days Career Training - to the position of trained observer. I take this very seriously - I watch the grass grow.
I've been asked to share my experiences with students again teaching classes part time for the Arizona Department of Transportation through Arizona Training Academy. It is a great job and I'm enjoying it immensely. Widowed 10 years ago my world crashed so to speak but following my late wife's directives I now have a relationship with a wonderful woman. ssed with good health and life is good these days. I keep up with the happening of Nutley through NJ Hometown. Actually, I am possibly more aware of things in our hometown than my local surroundings. Arizona has recently come to national attention through the action of its legislature. Only time will tell to what effect it will have on the state.
I have been asked before so I will include it now - no I have no snakes or gila monsters on my property and we have only had 1 scorpion in 30 years. I live in the city about 20 miles east of Phoenix. Some former Nutley residents live out here but to my knowledge no classmates. Having been to both ends of the weather spectrum I will take the desert heat Now don't say its a dry heat - well it is but 118 is still hot no matter.
