Joseph's Story

I have discovered through trial and error life is a journey and your the one who has to make it what it is for good or bad, I love music seems I have had hidden talent for a lifetime, playing guitar, learning keyboard, home mini studio, drawing in pencil, writing poetry, blogging, keeping up with family and loving God. Became disabled at 43, have been retired ever since Nov of 98, before all this I had a family of three, Divorced, two kids grown now one lives in utah getting married Aug 09, the other in my home town, she has a daughter age 5, I'm a proud grampa and dad, life has been a trial and lots of difficulty and pain but Im stronger and better person for it all. I thank God for all he has brought me through. some days are a bit tough now so I spend time watching favorite tv shows and enjoy many different programs. Also Computer internet chatting, reading religious magazines and books. Self help, health books. Music and technology.. I always wanted to be a musician when I grew up. Had a Band with two best buddies in high school our name was Landslide. We did not go far. I wanted to and continued to use my...Expand for more
talents in weddings and parties. did some touring in the coffee house circuit around minnesota in 79 80 them put it down to work for a Ministry in Mpls Mn. Billy Graham. I have learned to be accomplished in music and wrote several songs of my own. have what I could make on Cassette in my home. Perhaps not professional quality but home recording, I will be on CD at your music store, hopefully in the next year, I have two awards for my Poetry. ( lyrics.) I always wanted to be a famous Musician when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a foolish idea. it's being in the right place at the right time and having the favor of God on your life. I have found that working was a better choice to support my family, had I the ability to go back and start over I would have made other choices in music and had that band and career in music I always wanted. I may have been poor or rich doesn't matter money does not matter, what matters is making a difference in this world. I hope to leave some kind of influence on this world before I'm gone. I think i've done that in some lives or they may not be around today.
