Joseph's Story
Howdy Y'all,
I am now a respectable southern gentleman of high morals, fine sensibilities and good taste.
After escaping the unbearable, fiery crucible known as the Windsor Public School System, I moved to the south with my family hoping to find a simpler, slower, more civilized way of life, now gone with the wind, where master and slave... but I digress :-) Instead I ended up in a funky little southern city with a reputation for crime and gangs. (We like to say, New York City got better because all the criminals moved down here!) But it's home and I like it anyway. Actually, it's not that bad; it has heart and soul, some cool people and places and some good stuff to do. (like most places, I guess) I've worked at just about every job there is and finally went to back to school and got my BA at an historically black college here in town. "The blacker the college, the sweeter the knowledge"! I started out to be a medical writer but ended up doing data management (don't ask) on clinical drug trials for 14 years.

I've been with the same lady for 20 years. (goes by quick, doesn't it?) And we haven't killed each other!(yet) But seriously, I'm lucky: I got the girl I wanted and still have her, so far...:-) No kids. I've pretty much been through my party animal period and just drink the occasional self-mixed black and tan: good dark beer (stout or porter)and a good lighter beer. But I had my innings and in the process, went to a lot of good rock concerts with most of the bands I had wanted to see in my teens but didn't. Now, I mainly just work, fish (bass), hang with friends, watch tv, drink good beer, listen to good music, read an occasional book and count my pennies toward retirement. Also, I've found inner peace (for myself) too but I'm not religious or trying to convert anyone. Well, now that you know my story, you don't even need to meet or talk to me, do you?
But if you want to, feel free contact me or maybe I'll see you at the reunion. Wishing all of you, all the best.
Peace
Joe
