Josh's Story

Life After high school I went to Southwest Texas State University and got a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Marketing. While at college I really pursued my guitar playing by joining a band and spending most of the four years I was there playing shows and writing music. Shortly after graduation I married my beautiful wife Caroline, and spent a year working doing internet tech support. When my wife graduated, we moved to Orlando, Florida where I went back to school to study recording arts. We lived in Florida for a year where I spent all of my time in the recording studio and playing guitar with my new band at my church. ed to New York City to pursue a career in the recording industry. We got a great place right in the middle of Manhattan and I landed a job at one of the largest studios in NYC, Right Track Recording Studios. I worked there for a while, and got to work with some huge names in the recording business today, but then they started trying to get me to do illegal things and for moral reasons I had to quit. I spent some time as the Tour Manager and Front of House Engineer for the band Paramore, and then as the Director of Audiovisual for the New York Stock Exchange. In the summer of 2007 the time was right to move back to Austin and I am currently living in Austin and working as an Analyst for Apple, Inc.
