Joshua's Story
Hey Emerson crew! I remember you all fondly. The student lounge filled with smoke. The interesting and eclectic students, drugs, teachers. Ms. Walsh and the old Dean. Dr. Gardner .Good times. Ya'll probably remember Cristina (Patino)- the very pretty and very sweet girl w long brown hair and big smile? Well after staying friends for some years after HS we eventually got together and have been happily married for like 30 years now! 2 kids. 1 dog, 2 cats. We live in Woodstock NY and own Sweet Dreams Organic Ice Cream in the heart of Woodstock.
Not surprised we have accomplished musicians, artists and and movie stars among us as I thought any number of you amazing folks would/could fill those roles. Had a brief flirtation w Hollywood myself shortly after Emerson, but some fairly compelling mystical experiences (that may or may not have involved lsd :) sent me on another path- leaving my agent and that potential reality behind to inst...Expand for more

A varied and circuitous path after that took us all over Mexico and the U.S.. and we also lived for a time in various cultural hot spots: from the East Village (back when it was still cool!),to Santa Cruz (CA), Ashville (NC), Naushon Island in Cape Cod, Key West (FLA) (where we had an art gallery for many years) Brooklyn, ,and of course Woodstock- where we kinda settled when our kids got ensconced in schools here. We have a successful and totally Green business, (Sweet Dreams) and Cristina the kids and I have been eating organic and vegetarian since like age 20 (and the kids their whole lives!) Anyway to sum up -we're still pretty psyched about life and existence in general. want to send you all love and warm greetings. Emerson rocks. When ANY of you all are in Woodstock you must come in and say hi! All Emerson alumni get free ice cream btw! (vegan too!)
