Joshua's Story
I never would have guessed the twists and turns my life would take after graduating high school.
I continued living in town, even though most of my close friends from West moved away. This was tough for me, but I made many new friends at UMSL working for the student newspaper, The Current.
My work at The Current strongly shaped my life and helped me get where I am now in my career...Expand for more
: working at the Post-Dispatch as a page designer. It also opened up opportunities to travel to places like Israel, New York, and Washington D.C.
But as it turned out, I was destined to travel even farther - to Bolivia in South America - where I met the woman who would become my wife: Yoli Zegarra.
Now we live in Ferguson and have two daughters: Jadzia Marie and Ludivine Mercedes.
