Jo's Story
College
I spent a lot of time in college. My motto for many years was "When in doubt, go back to school" and so I ended up with lots of degrees: one BA, one BS, three Masters, and finally a PhD. So much time and so many student loans!
So what did I decide to do as a career? I became a Psychologist in private practice. I picked psychology because it gave me the maximum amount of freedom (I controlled my own schedule), people are endlessly fascinating, you get better at the job the longer you do it, and I hoped to do some go...Expand for more

Workplace
My first jobs out of college were running tutoring and counseling services for Hispanic college students. From there I went on to become a police officer and detective for six years. Then on to computer programmer/analysist. Finally I settled down into private practice as a Psychologist.
Now that I'm retired, I'm trading the foreign currency market and teaching/coaching other traders in the psychology of trading. Who knows what's next? There is always something interesting around the corner, don't you think?
