Joy's Story
Due to circumstances unique to my position, my sophmore year I dropped out of Kennewich High with the support of my school counselor. The following year I received my GED from Columbia Basin College and began my freshman courses. The responsibility of attending college still proved greater than my maturity level, and I withdrew the year after in 2002. this time that I met the man to whom I'm engaged, and I moved out on my own to a townhouse in Richland, WA. In 2004 I came to know the Lord and found salvation in Yeshua the messiah. I began regularly attending Calvary Chapel of the Tri-Cities, and for a time contributed in the youth ministry. About a year after my first job, I moved onto working with developmentally delayed and disabled adults. In addition to providing services to elderly people, I still work with the same community today.
