Life After graudating from High School I went to work. But my real dream was to be a nurse, which was out of the question. I worked very hard just to graduate(to interested in boys in my freshman year) but once I got my priorities start I was fine. As I said I went to work, for a Realtor for one summer only and that is the first time I met my now husband Bill Mori but at that time I was only 17 and I really thought of him as being an older man. I never gave it a thought that one day I would be married to him. After the summer job was over I went to work at Sprouse Ritz five & dime store on Napa street, but I really was wanting to start Junior college. They had a good Dental Assisting course at that time so I worked during the day & went to classes in the evening. I had been working there for about a year when a man and his wife came into the store looking for odds & ends for their new office, which was a Dental Office. I just happened to be working in that department and as I helped them pick out the items they needed we were talking and Dr. Morgan ask me if I was just working there or was I going to college. I told him that I was attending Santa Rosa Junior College in the evening hoping to get my license to be a Dental Assistant. Well he ask me if I would like to go to work for him and get on the job training which would cut my amount of credits in half and I would be able to finish the course in the afternoons, I was elated as you can imagine. I was Dr. Morgans Dental Assistant for 13 years & at one time I ran the entire office. After I left Dr. Morgan I went to work for an Oral Surgeon in Sonoma and I liked it very much it was different to a degree, because when I worked for Dr. Morgan we had never heard of nitros (laughing gas) before giving an injection.
