Joyce's Story
Life
I grew up in Alexandria, Virginia where I attended George Mason Elementary School, Minnie Howard Jr. High, Hammond and graduated from T.C. Williams in 1979. While studying to be a teacher at Marymount, I became a professional clown. I taught for several years at Columbia Baptist Kindergarten before landing a position at Tuckahoe Elementary School in Arlington, VA. I taught at Tuckahoe for 17 years.

rrently I am Vice President of Bell School Network. I enjoy travelling around the US helping schools through professional development. I am also an adjunct professor at George Mason University where I work with practicing teachers.
I live on a mountain in Bluemont, VA with my best friend and our Brittany Spaniel, beagle, mini-daschund. They keep us busy. I have a new grandson and he is the light of my life.
