I am Juan Ramon Ortiz Jr, son of Juan R. Ortiz and Brunilda Alvarez of Barrio Ceiba Sur, Juncos, P.R. Currently residing in Jacksonville, FL for the last 11 years. I was in the UPR from 78-82 and joined the US Army, where I served 30 years, retired in June 2002 honorably. Worked as a trainer, after 911, for DHS and TSA at airports across the US and Puerto Rico for 2 years, now working as recruiting manager for university in the US. Philip Randolph High School, just completed his freshman year. I have kept in contact with only two classmates, Wanda Flores, my brother's Nelson Ortiz spouse and Mildred Carrasquillo, former Mrs. Hiram Burgos spouse, also classmate, currently Mrs. Jose Zapata's wife, residing in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
