Judi's Story
Life
6/05:I have been married for 15 1/2 years and have 2 teen girls (my parents have the last laugh). Have lived nearby since graduation, parents still in Duquesne. I am now recieving disability from Social Security, active PTO for my girls in Steel Valley District and I am a Volunteer Fire Fighter's Wife (Ken's with Munhall #5). We have 2 cats (mutts), a turtle (Red Eared Slider), a fish (Beta) and 2 dogs (8 year old Dally and 1 1/2 year old Beagle). As I say: 2+2+1+1+1= a crazy life!!
I worked at PNC up until 1999, when I was told I had M.S.. I am on daily shots and pills galore. I recently let my EMT numbers run out (risk of losing SSD). But, I haven't been on any calls in quite some time. Some of you were with us at DEMS - not long after we left. But, I do have one daughter who is interested in both EMS and FF. I believe she'll be good at both.
4/06 UPDATE: The other daughter is a Jr. Vol. FF now and I joined as a Saftey Officer. We are at West Homestead #292.

Can't read emails but I have a space with judid292, as my name. Also use jdixonpa with a common service provider.
Still with the Fire Dept. and dealing with my MS. Had an attack this past Father's Day. Lost the use of my right leg but re-routed the messages within a week and doing well.
Oldest daughter will finish up her classes in Sept to be a firefighter. Working her 3rd season at Sand castles and Fright Nights. Looking into Law Enforcement.
Youngest still triing to become a member of the Salvation Army's Sally Wagon. Starting to get apps for work. Currently at camp. Wants to be an arictect (sp?).
Ken just bought an Ambulance from Pgh.EMS for his lightbar business. It has A/C for shows. That will help with my MS! :)
He is still Vol. FF. at Munhall #5.
We've lost our Dally, Molly and our momma kitty, Bootsie these past few years. Bootsie's son, Bobby and our Beagle, George, are at a loss. Still have the turtle, Buddy. Tiffany has a tetra fish and a corn snake, now. Wild life at the Dixon's.
Hopefully we will have sometype of reunion sometime. If you hear of one.... Please let me know.
