judith's Story
I am retired and living on Wolfe Island, Ontario. I worked for 35 years as an OT with children. I am married and have 2 adult children. In my retirement, I garden, volunteer within my community, bicycle, paint and travel.
Just to let you know what I have been up to....in 1964 I moved to Scotland to study nursing.
In 1965, I decided that I did not want to be a nurse...Nursing was not a good choice for me.
In 1970, I graduated from McGill with a B.A.
1971 to 1972, I spent a year travelling in Europe: one way ticket...Expand for more
cost only $99.00...WOW! I could afford that...
In 1976, I graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy.
I married in 1980 and had two children April and Joseph.
I have lived and worked in the U.S.A. but returned to Canada after only 2 years.
We settled in Calgary for 26 years. The children left to go to McGill.
I retired in 2010 on Wolfe Island which at the time was a 3 hour drive from my the 2 kids.
And then the kids moved around...Australia, France, Rimouski, and Quebec City, Geneva....
