judith's Story
i don't remember exactly what year i attended the school but i do remember it was the year Kennedy was shot. i was walking home from school and a girl came out of the house crying and said that the president was dead. that has stayed in my mind all these years. i remember the school and that neighborhood as being" leave it to beaver" like. a simpler time that i long for today. i was shy and didn't have many friends but i do remember a little girl that i played with named Suzanne rogers. she was a pretty little girl and oh how i longed to look like her, but i wasn't cute or funny or outgoing but she was nice to me. a kid named Br...Expand for more
adford cherry also was a friend but only if i gave him candy. other kids teased me and said i just gave him candy to make him like me, but honestly, i gave him candy because i liked him. there was another boy that was genuinely kind to me. his name was Donald Kelly. his dad was in the military and he moved away before i did. i cried all that summer. don`t know why i am getting all sentimental lately. i recently drove to Atlanta to see that old school, cant find it. did it have a park across from it, i seem to remember our class walking over to it for PE. if anyone remembers any of these people, please message me. thank you judi
