Judith's Story

I left Winnipeg twice in my 20s. I went to visit a friend in Edinburgh, Scotland for a 2 week vacation and stayed there for 2 years! A couple of years later, my work transferred me to Toronto; where I lived for almost 6 years. Both times coming back to Winnipeg, I came back to Charleswood! I always tho...Expand for more
ught I would leave Winnipeg again; to Germany (where 99% of my relatives are) or somewhere with mountains! But then I bought my 'starter' house in 1981, and I've been here ever since (in Charleswood, of course!). Although I love hills and mountains, I guess I really am a Prairie girl; a Charleswood girl!
