Judith's Story
I attended Elementary School in St. Albans WV from 1967-69 (Belville) 1969- 1972 (High Lawn) and then moved to Tucker County, WV. Where I attended Mountaineer Jr & Senior High School , in Davis, WV from 1973-1978, then graduated from Tucker County High School (which had consolidated the county and the class of 1979 was the first graduating class.)
Following High School, I attended Alderson-Broaddus College in Phillippi from 1979-1981, then transferred to WVU in Morgantown from 1981-1983. I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education in 1983.
I was married the summer of 1983 to Pete Wolff. We lived in Wheeling, WV where Pete worked for Wheeling Jesuit College, in 1985 we moved to Bluefield College. My daughter was born in Bluefield Community Hospital in 1985. In 1987 Pete took a job in NJ with Prudential Insurance and we moved to Edison NJ. My son was born in New Brunswick NJ in 1989. School in 1984. In Southern WV I worked as a substitute teacher. When we moved to NJ I taught preschool education for 5 years. In 1986 we moved to Middletown DE for Pete's job. I subbed in the public schools and then decided to go back to school to change occupations. I attended Delaware Technical and Community College from 1996-1999 when i graduated with a Associates in Allied Science degree for Occupational Therapy Assisting. I work as a COTA at a skilled nursing facility (I've been there 8 years). It is enjoyable working with the geriatric populations. Never a dull moment. My husband has his own Nationwide Office and enjoys being his own boss. My daughter graduated University of Delaware in 2007 with a degree in Environmental Science. She is presently employed with DNREC as a Hydrologist I, My son completed his high school education in 2007. And has taken this year to evaluate what he wants to do. Plans are for him to attend Salem Community College this fall for their glass blowing program.
