Life
Hi - My married name is Ward - Judy -
I am divorced and have been single for many years. I raised two children as a single mom and I now enjoy the time I spend with my 3 grandchildren. I have been living in San Diego, California since 1967 when my ex-husband was stationed here on submarines. He retired as a Navy Chief. I truly love San Diego and would not dream of living anywhere else although I must admit it is getting a bit crowded. It is a beautiful city and it has various types of activities, like the Old Globe Theater, The La Jolla Playhouse where many plays get their start before they go to Broadway. which brings problems of its own. I got my graduate education here in San Diego earning a Bachelor's and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. I have spent the last 17 years working as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor, a DUI Instructor, a Smoking Cessation Counselor, a Lecturer at the University level and as a Court Referral Officer for Superior Court. They have all been challenging positions and ones that I truly relish. It wasn't till I got my education that I was able to really work in the field that I wanted to work in and to feel that in some small way, I could make a difference in people's lives.
