I am NBTS teacher. During my career. I achieved the art teacher of the state of North Carolina. I was also awarded the Wayne County teacher of the year in 1999. I was also awarded the teacher of the year for my school in Goldsboro North Carolina. The school was Greenwood Middle School. I served on the state board of the art educators. I still like to paint and make jewelry. I spend a lot of my time volunteering for several of the community services each year. I belong to the pleasure island parrotheads. The PIPH volunteer constantly throughout the year for several of the islands needs. This is very near and dear to my heart. Judy Palmer".
