Judy's Story

Life My husband, George Turner and I live in Wakefield on a 400 acre farm. We have restored the 1846 federal style farmhouse since moving here in May of 2000. I have had to retire from teaching since suffering a debilitating chronic illness called pancreatitis. My life is now spent in and out of the hospital and caring for my son Nathan, new baby girl AnnaBelle and husband George. nterviewer for ORC MACRO, a research company who interviews saltwater fishermen in the area and collects data on the fish caught on recent fishing trips. The gov't uses the info to weigh the impact of recreational fishing in the area. I have been working for this company since 1998 on a part time basis. It allows me to still maintain some normalcy in my life given my illness. I will always miss teaching and I still keep in contact with the many lives I have come across in my brief teaching career from 1998-2004.
