I've had a colourful life with many unique experiences such as skydiving, but I've also suffered from a lot of tragedy. I've been divorced once and widowed twice and I don't have children. I also lost my two beloved miniature dachshund dogs, Columbo and Valli and even though it's been several years, I still miss my fur babies a lot. I am pretty strong, grounded and well adjusted. Everyone remarks on my fortitude but when you deal with tragedy there are only two ways to go - sink or swim - I have chosen to swim. Life was never meant to be a bed of roses - it's full of trials and tribulations, for some of us more than others. I have been dealt a rough hand of cards but my deck doesn't have a sympathy card. I want to live and make the most out of the time I have left. I retired from the government in 2011 and I love my freedom. I have become a Certified Licensed Zumba Gold Instructor.
