Julia's Story
Life
I stayed single and moved around after SRJC. I lived in Nebraska, back to Calf. and then to Texas. I taught special ed. in all those states, until in 1980 when I moved to Willits, CA to marry Ron Jensen. We have two children, Emalee who lives in Hawaii and is a senior intelligence analyst for a major government contractor and our son Carl who is a combat medic in the US Army and married to Thien-Ai who is also a combat medic. over 20 years but now am teaching reading at an elementary school. My husband is retired and keeps busy doing home repairs. I am still fat, but not so shy, I am more outspoken and sassy! I miss my childhood friend Glenda Forbes, who died several years ago, but see my good friend Christine Capanacci who lives about an hour or so away here in Arizona. I love being a desert rat! Bird watching has become a fun new hobby as well as desert gardening. I love visiting my daughter in Hawaii and all my friends and family in CA.
