Julie's Story
Life
After graduating from Chico State with a degree in Social Work. I moved to Portland, Oregon where I worked in social services and met my first husband. In 1994, we moved to Fairbanks, Alaska (his hometown) where we married and had a daughter, Madeline who is now 10 years old. After 4 years in Alaska, we moved back to Portland where I got a Masters Degree in Social Work from Portland State University.... and a divorce.

ublic Health Administrator for the State of Oregon. I started a consulting business on the side with a partner, and I'm going back to school in September (2007) to get my MBA.
I learned to snowboard 5 years ago, which my husband and I do every weekend from November to April on Mt. Hood, which is just an hour from Portland. Whistler, British Columbia is another favorite place that we go.
