Julie's Story
Life
I went to school for a degree in "Multi-media Design". After I graduated, I got married to Randy Delp and went from Julie Garis to Julie Delp now (of course). I met him through college in the first year. We have no children yet, but are now expecting. I am almost 3 months pregnant and am due on May 3rd of 2006. We both wanted to wait a while, so we would have time for each other and to travel and get a home. We have been married now for 4 years in July 2005 and have a home in Red Hill, PA that my dad has built for us. We have traveled to various places such as Ireland, Jamaica, and a cruise of the western caribbean and plan to visit a lot more places in the years to come. n becoming an entrepreneur right now to stay at home with my child. We go to Branch Creek Community Church together on Sundays. I love to hang out with friends, entertain and travel. Randy and I feel very blessed by the Lord!
Workplace
I had a job in "Graphic Design" for 2 years but needed something I liked better so I left there and went to work as a "Marketing Director" instead. The job was more diversified - I had designed and marketed which added something to the mix. I am now in pursuit of starting my own business at home part-time to be there for my child and eventually children, which is my ultimate goal. My family just has it in their blood to be their own boss and own their own businesses, most of them have their own business and love it. I think that is where I get the drive from, but the desire is what God is putting on my heart.
