Julie was born in Washington, District of Columbia. Growing up, due to her father's 40 year employment with Kmart Corp., she moved with her family throughout much of the Northeast, giving her the opportunity to experience a different school system in a different state almost every year from K-8. The family eventually settled in New Jersey where she attended High School and College. She is married to Gene Wilkinson whose employment as a Pipeline Engineer afforded her the opportunity to live all over the U.S. from coast to coast. She has three daughters, eight grandchildren, and is currently expecting her first great-grandchild in 2014. She attended West Deptford High School, class of 71' and Deptford High School (Cosmetology 69'-71'). She later attended Camden County College (double major-Psychology/Education), and Rowan University (double major-Criminal Law/Psychology).
Julie's employment life has been very eclectic. She was a Special Education Teacher in the Public School system for a number of years, and following this phase of her employment life, she was an Assistant Manager for Kmart Corp.; an Insurance Salesperson for two of the nationâs leading Insurance Companies; a Licensed Therapist in various Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers, both in-patient and out-patient; and later became an Adult Probation Officer for the County of York, P.A. for 4 years.
