Julie's Story
Life
I am a Technical Specialist in the Infectious Diseases Serology Laboratory at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I have worked in the same lab for 17 years. I met my husband, Josh, online in a hockey chatroom in 1997. He is from Tewksbury, MA. He moved to Minnesota in 1999 and we were married in 2003. My brother Steve & his family live in Byron, MN (5 miles west of Rochester). I have 2 nephews, Brady (11) & Reed (7). We go to all their baseball, football & soccer games, as well as all their school events.
My mother is a resident of Lakeside Lutheran Home in Emmetsburg, IA. She has alzheimers disease and does not remember her family. I go visit her once a month. My father passed away in August of 2006 from liver failure.
