Julie's Story
I've enjoyed my interesting life. This past year I lived in Koloa, Hawaii on the island of Kauai working as a designer with my own company and with a cabinet design company. Now I'm in Santa Barbara, CA which has become home for me. Prior to that I lived at the beach in Carpinteria just south of the Santa Barbara, California area. I has my drafting and design business and worked out of my home. Taking the architectural drafting courses paid off! I have completed several residential design projects as well as some small commercial projects.
My son, his wife and two children live in Denver, CO. My daughter and her six children live in the San Francisco, CA area. I get up to see them frequently as I have flight benefits through my son's job with the airlines; but, I prefer to have everyone come here as you can't get much better t...Expand for more

I am also active in my church-El Montecito Presbyterian. The people there are so wonderful and welcoming. Other activities include attending the theatre, symphony, the many festivals Santa Barbara holds, walking on the beach when I can, finishing a children's book I wrote and am doing illustrations for, sewing, my art work (painting, sketching, etc.), needlwork, spending time with my friends and just enjoying being outdoors here in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
I am still working on writing a screen play to be submitted by a friend in the movie industry. I always said I thought my story might be worth either a feature film, night-time soap or mini-series. Keep your eyes open for further developments!
All in all, my life is amazing and I thank God everyday for the miracles and blessings He has given me.
