Julie's Story
Life
Well, life has had many ups & downs as I'm sure everyone has had. Mine has finally come to a place of chinooks and mountain views upon meeting my hubby, friend and love which brought me to Calgary,AB. in 2002. We have 2 children & love every minute of it. I do wonder what life has brought to the paths of others that used to be a part of my growing years, if you are one of them, contact me. I am in touch with a few friends of old and remain, Derrill Perrier, Leanne, and Valerie Nagy up till a few years ago, still really looking for Kevin Gerard (Naramata then to Revelstoke), Shannon Topham (nee Pratt, Edmonton) and Daryl Dudiak (Calgary) I hope they are doing well and I think of them often. I lost my stepmom back in 2000 and lost touch with a few people I wish I hadn't and that's my misgiving, life got in the way and I needed to get back on my feet before I could give back the attention that was needed to maintain those friendships. I vowed after my first marriage (93-96 what a disaster) to not live life full of regrets a...Expand for more
nd so I am now trying to put those pieces back together. I am very confident today in who I am and what I stand for than I was when I was younger and I am not willing to turn back now. Thanks to the few that always believed in me when I did not. (Derrill P, Kevin G, Mike L, Shannon T, Shanon R, Garren S, Kethra S, Nancy R and finally Cody M). and my little ones...... :-) Cheers, Jul
School
hmm, well I'd have to say that school was not always my happiest time. I had only a few select friends through the years until I moved away in '85. I missed being back home with Derrill, Leslie, Lyle and Val but I had to go. In Edmonton I prospered and made it to Grade 12, had a number of friends in school but mostly out of the school circle - I really begun to notice all the good looking guys around me and the sweethearts too from high school but was always too chicken to say anything. Finally I decided that school was not for me, left halfway through the year and started working full time and never looked back. Well sort-of. :-))
