Julie's Story
Life
After a brief post-undergrad interlude in Detroit, I moved to Tallahassee, FL for grad school at FSU where I desperately missed 7-11s. Since then I've been living in Burbank, CA down the street from NBC, Disney, Warner Brothers and Universal Studios and a plethora of sunshine and 7-11s.
College
After graduating from Central Michigan with a BFA in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts, I took two years to work and then went back for my MFA at Florida Stat...Expand for more
e's Graduate Film Conservatory. So I went from being a Chippewa to a Seminole. Guess I'm tribally challenged.
Workplace
Imagine being stuck in AP English for the rest of your life. That's kinda how my job as a development assistant for the independent film company I work for is. I read books and screenplays all day and then write coverage (basically a glorified book report). It's a great job and affords me the time to work on my own scripts at night.
