Justin's Story
I was that quiet prairie kid that didn't say a whole lot at school. I did Track and Cross country, and maybe still have the 800m record? Any who I didn't have much of an impression on prairie outside of athletics, and moved on to college at UW Stout.
I studied 1 year at UW Stout's gaming program before finding out I was learning the wrong kind of material required to make AAA video games. At UW Stout they at the time though java, and utilized gamemaker my first year (games typically require C++/C, Unreal, or Unity eperience at least for AAA). o to Washington.
In Washington I have studied 4 years at DigiPen Insititute of Technology. There I learned a solid base understanding of C++/C programming, how to make my own game engine, and what it takes to make a great game my first year. Great start in comparison to UW Stout. 4 games later I found my first internship at Ember Entertainment (regretably mobile which wasn't where my dreams were), however the people their were great and code base was the least mobile based it could be, and I actually learned a lot from it. This past summer (2015) I found another job doing AI and Gameplay work at Monolith Productions in Kirkland, and I have been currently working there since.
