Kandy's Story
Life
I could probably make a lifetime movie about my life up to this point. Many good and bad things have been encountered through the years. After becoming a widow in 2001, I finally found my soulmate 2 years ago. I believe everyone has a soulmate, but finding them is very hard. I consider myself very lucky to have found him. I do not have any children and neither does he, unless you count his three cats and my two German Shepherds! They are all very spoiled and think they are kids. With my previous career I did some traveling to cities I have always wanted to visit: Beverly Hills, New York, San Antonio and Miami to name a few. My life has been an adventure to say the least.
Workplace
From 1988 until 1990 I worked at my parents pet shop. All was good until they decided to sell reptiles. I had to split then. I started working for and ended up managing a tanning salon from 1990 until 1998. In 1999 I worked for East TN Subway Development. No, it isn't a transit, it is the corporate office for East TN Subway restaurants. I was a field consultant until I was promoted to Director of Operations in 2003. profits. I had 40 stores per month to visit throughout East TN. I also opened new restaurants. As Director of operations, well, what didn't I do?! I had a staff of four, which kept me pretty busy. I directed 145 stores all over East TN. I was assistant to the vice president and president. I was in charge of remodeling and opening new stores. I conducted owners and managers meetings. I was the liason for the main headquarters in Milford, CT. And yes, I have met Jared! I resigned in 2004 due to health problems. At the beginning of 2005 I started my own business. I took a home inspection class and became qualified to do inspections. I have since branched off and do new construction clean up and apartment renovations. Update: Well, It has been a while but more health problems and on to new and better things. Not employed at the time but I am currently going to school full-time to be a medical biller/coder ( I figured with all the health problems I needed to know what was going on) LOL Just kidding. I lost my first and older German Shepherd unexpectedly a couple of months ago. I am heartbroken and miss him terribly. One the brighter side, I am now engaged to that wonderful soulmate I mentioned earlier! We plan to marry in Jamacia next year.
