Karen's Story
Living in Stockton, CA (stayed to keep kids near grand parents). Have two kids. My boy, just turned 18 and my girl just turned 20. My B-Day's coming up too- all 3 of us are January babies! My daughter graduated Valedictorian from Franklin High School in 2010 . She also received the Pinnacle Award and the International Baccalaureate Diploma and is now in her 2nd year at UC Davis to studying Fish & Wildlife Conservation Biology (VERY proud mom!)....Expand for more
She wants to research animals in the wild. I'm a Substitute Teacher, love horses, fishing, and the outdoors. I'm a very happy, spiritual, see the glass half full kind o' girl and like to have fun no matter what I'm doing- even if it's just cleaning my house :) My grandmother always said, "When you sweep, sweep for Jesus!", so I always try & be happy & remember that whatever I'm doing, I'm doing it for Jesus. It really puts perspective on things.
