Karen Bidgood:  

Hello, there! I am Karen Bidgood, born 1942, in Atlanta, Georgia. (Full name: Billie Karen Bidgood). Because my father was in the Air Force, we traveled the world wide over, living as children in French Morocco and Germany, and later back to the States, to Maine,and then to Honolulu,Hawaii. Through the years, whenever any kind of holiday came up, we'd travel to new adventures. Wow, 18 countries by the age of 18, a great life. I stayed on in Hawaii, 14 glorious years. I have a B.A. Degree in English from the University of Hawaii. At UH, I was very active with "Ka Leo o Hawaii", being a reporter, Copy Desk Chief, and had a theatre column. After Hawaii I lived in Reno for 2-l/2 years, San Francisco for 3, and since 1981 have lived in San Diego.
