Jerry's Story
Question for everyone: Does anyone have a Central Junior High School yearbook from 1956?
I received a BS in Ed in Math and Physics from Abilene Christian College in 63.
Margie and I married in 63. Our daughter was born in 1966, a son in 1969 and a son in 1972.
I taught math and physics at Anson High School in Anson for 63-64; taught math at Franklin Junior High School in Abilene for 64-65. My neighbor worked for IBM and thought that I would be perfect for a job in H...Expand for more
ouston with IBM and the space program. I worked for IBM from 1965 to 1993. Most of my work during those years was for NASA at JSC - Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Shuttle; other work for Exxon, United Airlines and a Group of oil companies.
From 1994 until 2004 I worked at IT for Shell - projects for Oil & Gas, Chemical, Lubes, Energy and HR.
I now live in Garland, harvest pecans, bake pecan pies, ride my bike, play with grandkids, 39's Church Group, and no rush hour traffic.
