Karen's Story
Life
I just retired after 33 years in public education. I spent my career with Pacifica School District (just below San Fran on the coast). I was a kindergarten-second grade teacher, school principal (K-5), director of curriculum, special education program administrator, personnel and negotiations administrator. My husband, Jeff, teaches 4th grade in Cupertino (and is soon to retire). My daughter, Chrisitie, if finishing her degree at SF State University and working. She is 24 and...Expand for more

Both of my brothers, Tom and Rob live in San Francisco. Tom attended PHS, ran cross country and graduated in 1971. He is a commercial real estate broker and has three darling kids. Rob is a computer animator. My mother and step father live in Rossmoor.
I love to read, especially mysteries. I love to crochet and do crafts, espcially with kids. I am still getting used to the idea of not having to go to work and all the responsibilities that came with it.
