Karen's Story
Life
I am currently recovering from a stroke I suffered following brain surgery in Sept, 2001. I sing in my church Choir ( We went to Itlaly in June, 2005!!) and have become a part of the Alumnae group for my Sorority: Sigma Sigma Sigma.
My newly posted "now" picture is one I found of me and my older son, Stuart (now 12, then 8) from just before the brain surgery that caused my stroke. I quit my high-stress, quots-driven job after being diagnosed with high blood pressure (I don't think it was a coincidence that this was right after I started driving again).
I am now Divorced, and live alone in an apartment in Saint Petersburg, FL. My Ex-husband has Sole Custody of our two sons (10&14), and I was only granted Supervised Visitation every other Saturday for 1 1/2 ...Expand for more
hours!:(
School
I changed schools very often because my parents moved so much - I never
went to the sames school for more than 2 years until college (FSU: Go Noles!!)
I graduated from High School in Vero Beach, FL (VBHS). I graduated in 1987.
I got a Bachelor's degree from FSU in Sociology (with a minor in Religion). I graduated in 1992.
I am now in love with a Man whjo live in Hollan whom i met on MySpace in the Fall of '07 during my divorce. I just uploaded one of his photos to my profile!:0) He is a true Gentleman. I love him with all of my heart and soul and cannot live w/o him in my life I canot wait to meet him in person, but he says I have to wait until the end of thsi year!:(
