Karen's Story
I only attended Mac High for 2 years so I don't know if anyone will really remember me. I didn't stand out. After graduation, we moved to S. Calif. I married at 18, had a daughter at age 20. I was divorced at 22. I had an unsuccessful 2nd marriage a short time later. In 1978, I moved to Eugene, Oregon. In 1980 I moved to Reno, Nevada where I still live. I have been married for 24 years. I now have 4 wonderful grandkids -- 3 boys, 1 girl. I never really wanted to be a grandma but now I am, I love it. I have been at my current job for 11 years....Expand for more
It's a great job. I have several pets that I adore. I really haven't accomplished much in my life. I just live from day to day and do the best I can. I spend time with my grandkids and try to keep myself busy.
I wonder about some of my teachers --Mr. Lee and Mrs. Sauter. They were great teachers.
I wonder about my high school sweetheart -- John Wilson. I think the biggest mistake I ever made was letting him slip away.
If I could back time, I wouldn't have gotten married until much later and I definitely wouldn't have lost touch with John.
