Karen's Story
Hi everyone! After high school I moved to Billings and attended Rocky Mountain College for 4 years. I graduated with a BS in Biology- thanks to Mr. Gossack who inspired me to study Science! After graduation I had jobs at both Billings hospitals in Physical Therapy and then moved to Dickinson North Dakota to work for
the Forest Service. (no trees!)
I did some traveling during my college and early working life to Europe (fun group of RMC students and professors) and to the Phillipines to spend time with my peace corp brother. I settled back in Billings in the early 80's and married my husband Duane, a Whitefish boy, in 1983. We lived and worked, raised our daughters in...Expand for more
Billings for the next 12 years. In 1995 we returned to my hometown of Anaconda. Duane transferred with the cable company, TCI ( now Bresnan). Our daughters attended Anaconda High school. Our daughters are now grown, one is married and teaching school in Deer Lodge and the other is in Idaho working in Graphic Design.
I work for the county, as an Environmental Health Specialist. We love our animals- 3 labs- one yellow, one black and one sable, our cat Dinah, and our goats Mariah and Emma.
We like to improve our home and have worked way too many years doing it!
I love to travel and just returned from a 25th anniversary trip to Hawaii.
