Karen's Story
I grew up in Saco Maine. I spent my younger years attending the saco public school system but in 8th grade after a couple years in open class rooms and not being able to focus my mom pulled me from public school.
The best years in school were those spent at Salmon Falls, I had a blast there.
I attended USM portland/Gorham as a Theater major for 2 years but after graduation in a highschool class of less then ten the 100+ class rooms in college were to much and I left school.
I met my husband shortly after and started a family. My oldest is now 24 and my youngest just turned 20. Ive played mom to several kids and I enjoy a full house. I worked in Human Serv...Expand for more
ices as a Residential Coordinator for three independent living homes for 18 years. The year my youngest was a Senior in High school I took a year off, spent time with her and went back to school to become a massage therapist. I have done that as well as work several different retail jobs (always landing in management) ever since. I like a flexible schedule and I enjoy only working short amounts of time at any giving job. I get bored easily.
I hold my high school memories close to the heart and never forgot the people who were my friends back in Saco.
