Updated May 27, 2009 Life In high school you knew me as Karen Rhodes or (little bit). I was married to and divorced Roger Turley. I married Neil Petersen in 1983. We were married for 20 years. He passed away from a heart attack on November 19,2003.We moved to San Jose CA in 1984 and lived, played and worked there untill FEB of 2005. We have raised 4 children and now have 7 Grandchildren. All live in California. When we moved to San Jose I became very active in Pop Worner Football, as the Cheerleading Activity Director. Served on the Regioal board as well as the local board. Because I love to sew I was able to make my oldest daughters Wedding Gown. She drew me a picture when she was about 8 yrs old and asked me to make it when she grew up, it had changed very little over the years. I still love to sew and crochet and sometimes knit. I moved to Maui HI. in Febuary of 2005. May 2009 I now live in Spring HIll Florida. I met my future husband on a Dating site. LOL... wow who would of thought way back in High School the world would become so small... My future husband is John Labat. Born in New Orleans and raised in Oakland CA....
