Well helo everybody, it's me Karen, I am living in Sacramento now. My family and me moved up here in 1991 for my job in Stockton as a Peace Officer for Dept of Corrections. I was medically retired due to injury to my right wrist by a inmate in August 2003; date of retirement was 2005. I was retrained as a paralegal and found legal Secretary job at DMV headquarters in Sacramento in 2009. I had a 20 yr career with State before injury.. My husband ,David and I have been together since my jr year of high school. We married in August 1985...we have one daughter, Desiree she is 32 yrs old(as of 2020).. We like living in Sacramento, we moved up here in 1991. We visited LA a couple a times a year.. Currently it’s January 2021 and been up here 30 years.. Traveling is a favorite; a few places we have been too. Texas, Florida, Vermont, Washington, and Canada, and also Hawaii. Life has been a real crazy in the past 5 years in our family..I had some very challenging times and set backs in loosing loved ones.. my mother passed in 2000; our lives were full raising Desiree and work.. Then in more recent years loss of one of my best friends Cecilia Vallejo Due to cancer; followed by my diagnosis of breast cancer; and then my father in law passed in 2016.The most devastating h...Expand for more
