Karen's Story

The picture is three generations, my beautiful daughter and granddaughter April and Emma. I have a wonderful husband Bruce, daughters April and Ondrea a son Bryce and two irresistible grandchildren(Caleb & Emma), each day with them is the greatest adventure. I've held various jobs mostly in the procurement field since high school but I have never felt they defined me. I believe my family speaks loudest for me and I am so very proud of them. We moved from Spokane in 1983 to Vancouver, Wa where we lived for 20 years. Bruce was a resident salesman for NORWESCO and I worked at Vanalco an aluminum smelter in purchasing. Our family has always been into the outdoors in particular water sports...Expand for more
and boating. Since our retirement in 2004 we have lived at Mayfield Lake, its about halfway between Vancouver and Seattle on Highway 12. We have owned property here for 17 years and built our dream home in 2005. Living at the lake has made us a destination vacation for all our family and friends and we love it! We have been very fortunate in our lives and I feel truly blessed in so many ways. Things I've learned since High School, there's nothing better than a good dose of humility everyday and that I don't control a thing, Gods got that well in hand. I hope to make it back for our next reunion so I can catch up with you all, until then I pray you have love and happiness in your life.
